Summer is upon us, my friends. Sunshine, beach days, vacations, and.. dehydration. That’s right, dehydration. It can lead to feeling dizzy, tired, irritable, and could lead to headaches. For me, personally, being dehydrated is a huge migraine trigger so I try to avoid it at all costs. I also notice when my kids start acting this way, getting them to drink a glass of water is like pulling teeth. When it’s laced with fruit flavor, however, they actually ask for it. I’m going to show you how to make your own fruit infused water at home.
Salmon is one of my most favorite fish to eat. That being said, it’s also on the pricey side so we don’t make it very often. When we do, we do it simply, letting the wonderful flavor of the salmon shine. We season it with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder, sear it in a cast iron pan on the stove, and pop it in the oven to finish off. Perfection. Every. Time.
I’ve decided to do this as a tutorial rather than a recipe because this is so easy and customizable. Once you know the method, nothing is stopping you from making salmon at home better than your local restaurant.
